Environmental + Social + Governance (ESG)

With an increasing expectation of mandatory disclosure, particularly of climate change financial risks, there is a vast interest for voluntary action by global investors and superannuation funds on environmental issues, particularly with such organisations like the UN-led Net Zero Banking Alliance and the Net Zero Asset Manager’s Initiative.

ESG covers a broad spectrum of issues. These span climate change and resource efficiency, human rights and community engagement, anti-bribery and corruption, cyber and privacy, transparency and disclosure, and accountability.

When advising our corporate clients, BLC goes beyond the domestic law approach and takes into consideration the highest level of value reached by an investment account or portfolio.

BLC can help establish an ESG policy and assess any gaps in your organisation.
